[12/02/20]   Greetings and welcome to "Tier 3 " - good news now re the vaccine though so fingers crossed that we will enjoy a good 2021.

Whilst at present not opening our kitchen on Wednesday and Thursday evenings we do plan to be open on the Wednesday and Thursday before Christmas - including Christmas Eve - and the same the following week, which takes in New Year's Eve. Sorry we will be closed on Sunday 27th.

Take out available huge fresh Scottish Haddock served with chips tartare sauce and a choice of pea's mushy or garden
[03/22/20]   After our first weekend as a "Takeaway" we have discovered what is practical for us, and what is not so easy. We hope that our service was satisfactory.
We have now consolidated our takeaway menu which I hope you will find attached, and please note that Club members get an extra 10% off the prices.

Just a reminder - we will be catering from Wednesday evening to Sunday evening 6pm to 8.30pm, and Sunday lunch from 12.30 to 2.30pm.

Pre-orders please when we will agree with you a time for collection - emails for advance orders but phone only for the same day please, to avoid disappointment.
For Sunday roast please give us as much notice as possible to allow us to plan; today we were surprised by the demand and ran out of them. So the earlier the better for us please!

Currently we have Bass and Moonshine on draught, in our two pint containers or bring your own - and we also have the draught lagers and cider too, together of course with wines etc - all discounted for takeaway.

If you are struggling to collect from us we will endeavour to deliver to you, please ask.

We are all in unchartered territory now - boldly going where no one has been before - let's hope this is not the final frontier for any of us...

We are now a takeaway orientated establishment...

So - one or two changes in a bid to keep our ship afloat, subject to fine tuning as we proceed.

We will extend our kitchen hours - so will be cooking Wed to Sunday evenings between 6pm and 8.30pm., and Sunday lunch between 12.30 and 2.30pm.

We might make some modifications to these times as we find our feet.
Could be that there is no demand for our services...

We will also consider a delivery service for those who find it difficult to collect.

Procedure then to order a takeaway as follows:
For same day please ring, emails are not constantly monitored.( our voicemail is ok)
For next day or more in advance - email is fine.
We will - upon receipt of your order - advise you of cost; there is a discount for takeaways.
A time will then be agreed and collection will be from our back door in the car park.
Payment by cash or credit card on collection or bacs transfer in advance please.

Don't forget we also offer a takeaway service for draught ales and lagers; we have two pint containers or you may bring your own - wines etc are also readily available too at a discount.
In addition to the website menu we also have a large selection of pies and burgers - please enquire which are available - and our ever changing specials - including fish and chips - which we will tell you about when you ring or email us. Puddings too.
We will offer our full menu to begin with, and see how we go.

Some of our menu choices are cooked in the dishes in which they are served, and we don't have enough of these dishes to send out, so they may not decant exactly as we would have wished, but we will no doubt learn as we go along ( lasagnes and fish pies for example )

Some other choices - Sunday lunch for example - will go out on a plate which we hope will be returned...
As ever your feedback will be welcome - please keep your ideas coming - we are not sure just what exactly we will be able to do - even if we can allow entry into our premises to collect and pay etc - but will play it by ear. It is important that we all keep safe, and adopt the spirit of the rulings.
